A mix of wonderful Gilbert and Sullivan

Halifax Gilbert and Sullivan Society presents its popular Annual Concert tonight March 11 (7.45pm start) at All Saints Church Hall, Godfrey Road, Skircoat Green.

The concert will include excerpts from that delightful comic opera Iolanthe, where the Peers and Arcadian Fairies cause glorious mayhem in the House of Lords.

Iolanthe (alternatively known as The Peer and the Peri) is the Society’s annual show this year and as ever, will be performed across a week at Halifax Playhouse in November.
