25 special years of song

A special performance of Haydn's '˜The Creation' will mark Overgate Hospice Choir's 25th anniversary.

The concert at All Saints’ Church, Elland will be conducted by music director Dr Simon Lindley with organist Alan Horsey.

The choir will be accompanied by the National Festival Orchestra and the soloists will be Ella Taylor, Paul Dutton and Thom Meredith.

The choir was formed to sing ‘The Creation’ in October 1991 as part of National Voices for Hospices which resulted in 113 simultaneous performances of the work throughout the UK.
