Sunday League: Siddal Place maintain 100 per cent record

Siddal only had 11 fit players but took the lead after five minutes from Darryl Camp.

Camp then set-up Damon Nichols for Siddal’s second, which was then added to by Daniel Tuck, from Jake Thompson’s cross.

Tuck’s second made it 4-0 before half-time, before Nichols’ free-kick and Tuck’s third racked up the away side’s half-dozen.

Nichols then completed his own hat-trick to make it 7-0, and Tuck then registered his fourth goal of the day.

Top-scorer Thompson then produced his own goal-rush with four goals of his own to round off the scoring.

Halifax Hammers Reserves moved to within three points of fourth-placed Thrum Hall FC with a 5-2 win over them in wet and cold conditions.

Thrum Hall took the lead with Thomas Henshaw scoring for the away side.

But Hammers drew level after half-an-hour through Foysal Ahmed.

Zahir Hanif put Hammers ahead just before half-time, but they were reduced to 10-men after the interval when Wasim Iqbal was sent-off after getting two bookings in quick succession.

With Thrum Hall pressing forward, Hammers took advantage of the gaps left in behind and made it 3-1 when Mohammed Ozair scored a fine solo goal.

Suhail Bashir outmuscled the Thrum Hall defence to add a fourth for Hammers before Thomas Robinson got one back for the visitors.

But the game was put to bed when Ozair scored from the penalty spot after Bashir was fouled.

In the only other Division One game, Triangle beat bottom club Barum Top 5-1.
