Second Shaytots sessions kicking off soon
Funded by FC Halifax Town, The National League Trust and Community Sponsors RSA; Shaytots is an innovative way for children aged 6-months to 4 years to learn and enjoy sport. Sessions are focused on fun and structured play and include full parental participation.
Using the FC Halifax Town coaching syllabus and specially selected equipment, the programme uses football as a medium to introduce toddlers to a variety of exercises to help develop physical skills of agility, balance and coordination, children will also be helped with their first steps in reading and numeracy.

Hide AdOn graduating from Shaytots players will possess a good understanding of fundamental football skills such as; dribbling, passing, control and players will be able to continue their longer-term development in the FC Halifax Town Player Development Centres.
Sessions are split into three stages of development:
Stage 1: non-walking to walking (6-months upwards)
Stage 2: walking to 3 years
Stage 3: 3-4 years
All staff are all first aid qualified and have been CRB checked, and the coach delivering this programme is a mum of four, fully trained in delivery of the programme and an experienced coach educator.
