Late goals give Stump victory

Damian Watkins gave Stump the lead after half an hour with a free header but Shelf levelled with a fine individual effort from Hayden Finch.

Hide AdThe second half belonged to Stump but they could not break down a dogged Shelf defence until an own goal entering the closing stages.
A Tom Robinson strike two minutes from time sealed victory.
Mixenden United are close to clinching a place in the Premier Division next season after a 4-0 win away to Elland Allstars.
Damian Randall scored twice and Paul Kemp and Matthew Horsfall were also on target for the visitors.
Michael Midgley’s scoring spree continued with two more for Denholme United at home to Ryburn United Reserves but the visitors emerged 4-3 winners.

Halifax Irish Centre moved out of the relegation positions with a precious point in a 2-2 home draw with Salem.

The only game in Division Two involved title favourites Illingworth St Mary’s.

Two teams were found to have played ineligible players against them - Hebden Royd Red Star Reserves in a 4-4 draw on February 28 and Sowerby United Reserves, who beat them 5-1 on March 14.

Premier side Northowram and Division One side Halifax Irish Centre were awarded the points from games against Elland United on March 30 and Volunteer Arms on March 21 respectively.
Elland and Volunteer had failed to fulfil the fixtures.
Ovenden West Riding Reserves overcame a second half revival by lowly Bradford AFC before clinching a 4—1 home victory in Division Two of the West Riding CA last night.
Scott Carney and Matty Waller gave West Riding a two-goal interval lead but Bradford, well led by Daniel Dixon, missed a string of chances and Ovenden ‘keeper Craig Turnbull made a couple of excellent stops.
Dixon fired Bradford back into the game from 18 yards on 70 minutes but West Riding raised their game and Carney and Waller took them clear.
