“It’s only right that we give something back” - FC Halifax Town offer a special phone call to elderly and vulnerable fans

FC Halifax Town are offering their elderly and vulnerable supporters the chance to receive a phone call from manager Pete Wild or a player to help them through the coronavirus crisis.

The club said: “We thought it was an opportune time to check in with some of our most vulnerable and elderly fans. Its really tough at the moment especially for these groups of supporters.

“The gaffer and the lads have some spare time at the moment so it’s only right that we give something back.”

The club asks people only request a call if they are over 60, on their own or are classed as vulnerable.
