Former Halifax defender joins Scottish Premiership side St Mirren

Former FC Halifax Town defender James Bolton has joined Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.

Bolton had three spells at The Shay, two on loan before signing permanently, and was part of The Shaymen’s victorious FA Trophy team in 2016.

He has since gone on to play for Shrewsbury, Portsmouth and Plymouth in the Football League.
