FC Halifax Town: Bromley preview

The Shaymen secured what could be a vital three points at Southport on Saturday thanks to Shaquille McDonald’s 90th minute goal, which saw them move out of the relegation zone.

They are one-point clear of Altrincham in 21st place, but that could be stretched to four pints if Town win at Bromley and Altrincham lose at Barrow.

Manager Jim Harvey will be at the game after serving a stadium ban at the weekend, but is understood to be the subject of a touchline ban for the Bromley match.

Assistant manager Tommy Miller didn’t rule out he and Harvey tinkering with the team for the game.

He said: “Jim will be at the game on Tuesday and we’re looking for another positive performance.

“We’ll go down there the night before, we’ll prepare right and then we’ll be looking forward to the game.

“We’ll see how the bodies are feeling, how the legs are feeling and if we feel we need to freshen it up we will.

“If not we’ll go with the same personnel and we’ll look to get a positive result.

“If we keep picking up wins and draws, getting points on the board then we’ll be fine.”

Town came back from 2-0 down in added time to salvage a draw in the reverse fixture at The Shay in August.

Top-scorer Ademola Moses got Bromley’s first goal that day, and has netted 19 in the league this season, including three in his last four.

Bromley are unbeaten in their last four games, winning three before drawing 1-1 at Chester last time out.

Only four teams have scored more league goals than Bromley, although only four teams have conceded more goals too.
