Boston 1-4 FC Halifax Town: Fans Panel verdict
Andrew Mann
Man of the match
Alex Simmons - two fine finishes, looked lively all game and kept up his excellent scoring record. Would be great if we kept him after his loan expires.
Moment of the match
Excellent run from Hibbs and a great finish from Denton from the edge of the box for Town’s last goal.

Hide AdTom Denton clearly having his shirt pulled in the box repeatedly and the ref not giving anything. Several clear cut penalties not given.
Kit Walton
Man of the match
Could be anyone, but giving it Liam King. Lynch and Sinnott play key midfield roles, but King fills in the gaps. He forever crops up exactly where you need him.
Moan of the match
Us (the fans). We didn’t give anywhere near enough support to our team until late on.
Moment of the match
Definitely the first goal. Quick passing and a marvellous cross put the ball right on Denton’s head, and everybody at the match knew where it would end up!

Hide AdTom Denton for his two goals and proving he can score with his feet as well as his head. His second was probably the best goal he’s scored this season.
Moment of the match
Alex Simmons’ second goal was certainly my moment of the match. After the home side scored to make it 1-2 I got a sinking feeling but that third goal put the game out of their reach.
Moan of the Match
The way Boston players found it hard to stand up when any of our players went near them was annoying. Billy Heath also agreed with this and made his views very clear.
