Earles lord it over rivals
Mytholmroyd beat Blackley by six wickets and Copley romped to a 111-run success over Old Crossleyans in games held over from the previous Tuesday due to wet weather.
Mytholmroyd moved to within one step of finals day, which is at SBCI on Sunday, July 27, with the help of Jack Earle’s three for 17, which helped restrict Blackley to 120 for eight.

Hide AdTom Greenwood made 38 against his former club and James Cowens (30 no) and Tom Earle (25) helped wrap up victory in 14.5 overs.
Copley piled up 222 for three at home to Crocs, who were bowled out for 111 in 16 overs.
Mytholmroyd will host holders Thornton in the last eight on Tuesday, July 8 with July 15 the reserve date.
Booth are at home to Jer Lane, Southowram face Wibsey PC and Sowerby St Peters will play Copley in the other quarter-finals.

Hide AdElland and Barkisland had wins in their opening Huddersfield League Twenty/20 group matches last night.
Elland’s visitors Hall bower managed only 72 for nine, with the wickets shared between six players, and the Hullen Edge men rompoed to a nine-wicket success in eight oversd with 35 now out from Fahid Rehman.
Barkisland followed up Saturday’s wide-margin league win over Golcar with success against the same visitors.
Golcar made 124 for nine and Barkisland chased them down in 13 overs with 57 from Jamie Summerscales and 32 from fellow opener Darren Robinson.
