Peadar, who has lived in the Calder Valley for more than 30 years, is part of a worldwide campaign to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War
Pipers around the world are being asked to go to an appropriate local placer at 6am on Sunday, November 11 when the armistice was signed, and play the song.

Hide AdThe College of Piping in Glasgow is helping to organise the initiative.
The 74-year-old musician is originally from Dublin, and lives in Luddendenfoot.
"I've always been a pacifist," he said. "What they did in bringing about peace was brilliant.
"There has not been a war in Europe in my lifetime, mainly because of what they did.
"I'll be one of thousands on the day. It's just a little contribution to the idea of peace."
