“It is hugely exciting to be launching our recruitment with these first senior posts,” he said. “The post-holders will be key, not only in leading The Piece Hall once it opens its doors again next summer, but also in shaping the whole of the organisation they work for.

“The Piece Hall will be the most significant heritage and visitor attraction in the UK to open in 2016 and it will be an extraordinary place to work.

“We are looking for very ambitious, enthusiastic and experienced people who really want to make a difference, who can rise to the challenge and make a massive contribution to the exceptionally exciting vision that we have for The Piece Hall, Halifax and the North of England.”

Successful candidates will be at the forefront of plans to re-open The Piece Hall which currently is undergoing a £19.2 million restoration and is the only surviving cloth hall in Britain.
