Taking a whirlwind tour around the globe

Each Thursday afternoon, from 1pm, the chapel will welcome people of all ages for a range of country-themed activities, including ‘local’ food, crafts, quizzes, games and language tasters. The chapel has just kick-started its summer sessions with prayer walks round the village, initiating a prayer railing outside and a visit from Busoasis, the Calderdale Circuit double decker which welcomed tens of children on board.

Over forty people, including 25 children, ‘travelled’ to Italy to enjoy home-made pizzas and ice-cream, Italian language games and pasta crafts last week.

All are welcome today’s trip to Spain, for paella, sangria, Spanish language fun, crafts and quizzes. Further countries to be visited are Greece, France, England with Busoasis and Australia
