Voting begins for local government elections
Voting for the local government elections have got underway this morning.
Calderdale Council seats across the district have been put to ballot, as well as contenders for European elections.
A total of 75 candidates will be standing across 17 wards.
The local elections count in Calderdale will be held at North Bridge Leisure Centre, Halifax, on Friday May 23.
