John hangs up his gloves
Mr Walsh was handed an engraved pocket watch, a selection of assorted whiskies and some lottery tickets for his big send-off.
Phillip Schofield, area manager for the Safer, Greener, Cleaner team, said: “Hopefully one of the tickets comes up trumps for him.

Mr Walsh was born and bred in Brighouse and spent most of his career working in the town.
He worked as a craftsman in horticulture at Wellholme Park, Bailiff Bridge and the Lower Valley.
Mr Schofield added: “He’s an extremely skilled landscaper, very dedicated to his profession.
