Police appeal for witnesses following firearms discharge in Huddersfield

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about a firearms discharge in Huddersfield to come forward.

The incident happened at 1.38am on Saturday 11 October, when a firearm was discharged through a window of a property on Springbank Road.

Detective Superintendent Simon Atkinson of the Protective Services (Crime) department, said: “Enquiries are continuing into the incident and I would appeal to anyone with any information to come forward. This was an isolated incident and local neighbourhood officers are stepping up patrols in the area to offer a reassuring presence to local residents.”

No one was injured during the incident.
