Todmorden Mayor presents annual awards to outstanding citizens
At a virtual ceremony attended by friends and colleagues, the Mayor presented award winners with their certificates and for each outlined the reason why they had been nominated, and then presented the winners with their Citizenship Award certificate.
The Mayor said: “Because of Covid we have been unable to hold the Mayor Making ceremony when we usually present the Citizenship Award. With so many nominations and such a challenging year, the town council felt that we should award all four nominees with awards this year because of the great service each recipient in their own way has provided to Todmorden and its community.
