People: Meet little Lori - the first baby to be born in Halifax in 2023

This beautiful bundle of joy is the first baby to have been born in Halifax in 2023.

Little Lori was born at 4.31am on January 1 at Calderdale Royal Hospital, weighing 6lbs 15.5oz.

Her parents are Nicola Williams and Richard McGarry, from Illingworth Halifax.

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust said: “Congratulations to the proud parents - she is beautiful!”
