A new retired living development in Brighouse has already sold more than 50 per cent of apartments following a sales release last month.

Hepworth Court, on Parsonage Lane, features one and two bedroom apartments with a communal lounge, landscaped gardens surrounding the plot, on-site parking and a guest suite for friends and family who wish to stay with residents.

Liz Green, regional sales and marketing director at developers McCarthy and Stone North East, said: “We have been truly overwhelmed by the fantastic response to our new development in Brighouse.

“It is clear that Hepworth Court is helping to fulfil a housing need in the local area, providing more choice for retirees.

“The development offers a perfect solution for those looking for a more relaxed pace of life, but with the security of home ownership and the benefits of having a range of amenities right on the doorstep, so they can enjoy an independent and active lifestyle.

“The demand we have experienced is testament to the number of people in the local area who are looking to enjoy independent living, without the maintenance worries that can sometimes come with an older or larger property.

“It’s a great option for those over 60 who are considering the future and want the assurance of knowing support is at hand should they ever need it, as well as the benefits of having a likeminded community of individuals they can socialise with.”

Once completed, Hepworth Court will comprise of 30 apartments with a 24-hour emergency call system in place should assistance be needed.
