Man stabbed in Brighouse assault
Police are investigating an assault on a man in Brighouse.
The 30-year-old man received a stab wound in the incident on Thursday evening and is currently being treated in hospital.
The incident happened in a park near to Smith House Avenue. Residents of the street said police put cordons across the entrance and exit of the park area, which were still in place early this morning.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said enquiries are at an early stage and are continuing.
