Good teamwork proved crucial
MANY events might buckle under the strain of a weather onslaught faced by Todmorden Agricultural Show last weekend, but they proved teamwork can carry the day.
For example, more than 40 key personnel were at a Todmorden Agricultural Society pre-show meeting at the start of the week and it was this teamwork and felxibility, praised by president Shirley Fielder, that allowed decisions to be made quickly and the show ground re-ordered.
The show must go on, the saying goes, and it did.
