Fire crews rescue trapped car from ford
Fire crews rescued a car from flood water this evening (Thursday), following a day of persistent rain.
Crews from Brighouse were called to the incident in Thornhills Beck Lane at 6.30pm and pulled the trapped car from the water - which had risen to around two feet.
One person was in the car, but was not injured.
Crews left the scene at 7.20pm.
