Fashion, food and fun for Overgate

Thousands of pounds were raised as the fourth annual Ladies Night of Fashion, Food and Fun hosted by the Overgate Designer Shop in Brighouse was a roaring success

Sixteen volunteer models, each wearing four different outfits from the Brighouse Designer Shop, paraded amongst the audience.

Jacqueline Yates, manager of the Overgate Shops in Brighouse, thanked everyone involved. “This popular event is now firmly on the calendar being one of the major fund raising events that the shop undertakes,” she said.

The event held at Berties in Elland raised over £6,000 for the hospice.

The Overgate Shops will once again be participating in the forthcoming 1940’s Weekend and Mrs Yates added: “The support we get from the people of Brighouse at these street markets is absolutely fantastic. Without this we couldn’t support the Hospice the way that we do.”
