The family of a popular landlady have paid tribute after she died following a short illness.

Sue Harker, 53, had run the George Hotel, Commercial Street, Brighouse with her husband of 29 years, Dave Harker, since 2010.

The couple had returned from the holiday of a lifetime in Mexico when Sue was taken ill. She received treatment at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and died from natural causes on June 7, surrounded by family.
