PC Paul Dilnot, of Valley South East Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “ We received a report of the theft of a van from outside a business premise in Saddleworth Road, Elland, shortly before 5.15pm on Friday, December 12.

“The silver Ford Transit panel van, which has a yellow stripe and yellow triangle sign on the door, had been parked at around 2.45pm that day. The vehicle is reported to have contained several thousands of pounds worth of tools.

“At this time the van is still outstanding. The van’s registration number is J10CHJ; however it is likely that if the vehicle is still being used that the number plates will have been changed.

“If anyone saw anything that day which could help our enquiries or has information about the van’s whereabouts they are asked to call Valley South East Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101.”
