Police probe into Halifax robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Halifax.

At around 12pm, a 33-year-old man was assaulted by a group of four males on Battinson Road on July 20, after being flagged down in his car.

The males, then made off in his vehicle, a grey Audi S4 estate with the registration MD66.

The first suspect is described as white, approximately 6ft and around 40 years old.

He was of medium, lean build and was wearing a balaclava, a white polo top, a black zip up hoodie and black tracksuit bottoms.

The second suspect was described as skinny, wearing all black clothing and wearing a balaclava.

The third suspect was white, spoke with a Liverpool accent and was wearing all black clothing and a balaclava.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area at around the time of the incident or anyone who saw three man acting suspiciously in the area.

Officers would also like to hear from anyone who believes they may have seen the Audi vehicle which was stolen in the incident.

The victim was not seriously injured.
