Man arrested for being a wee bit drunk and disorderly
Police arrested a man in Hebden Bridge yesterday (Wednesday) after he was allegedly urinating in the street and being abusive to passers-by.
The 39-year-old, who police said was “extremely intoxicated”, was also lying in the middle of New Road, stopping the traffic and refusing to leave.
When police arrived at the scene at 3.25pm the man was found on a wall on New Road.

Hide AdA West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “He was extremely intoxicated, uncooperative and abusive to the officer and was therefore arrested for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
“The 39 year old man has now been charged to appear at court.”
