Hundreds of cannabis plants found at Brighouse business premises

Police officers are at a Brighouse business after a number of cannabis plants were found at the premises.

Officers made the discovery at the building on Bradford Road in Brighouse town centre yesterday at 7.25pm.

PC Becky Tomkins of the Calderdale Neighbourhood Policing Team posted the pictures of cannabis plants on social media.

She said 300 plants were found over six rooms.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers discovered cannabis plants in a business premise on Bradford Road, Brighouse at around 7.25pm yesterday.

"Enquiries are ongoing today at the scene.

"One male has been arrested."
