PICTURES: Students celebrate at the prom
Year 13 leavers from Hipperholme and Lightcliffe High School held their annual ball at the Old Brodleians Rugby Club, Hipperholme, and said their farewells and thanks to their teachers
Head boy Nick Truelove and head girl Elissa Hutchinson-Gilbert made a toast to the head of sixth form, Sean Green, teachers and all the staff and presented them all with presents.

Hide AdA buffet meal was enjoyed and a DJ ensured there was plenty of dancing during the night for the 70 students that attended.
Claire Ridley, student support officer and organiser of the event, said the night went really well and everybody had a great time.
“A lot of the staff attended this year and I think this was a reflection of this year group as we are going to miss them.
“About two-thirds of the students will be going onto university and we had a leavers assembly where we handed out little joke awards to the students.

Hide Ad“All the girls looked stunning and the lads dressed up as well so they looked really smart.
“It was really nice the way students thanked all the staff during their time in the sixth form.”
