Ultimate festive sausage roll measuring 50cm goes on sale in Halifax

Prestige Hampers has launched its super size Christmas edition to what is though to be the biggest known sausage roll in the UK.

The previous Giant sausage roll became a success earlier this year with Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan, branding it the country's biggest sausage roll.

A spokesperson for Prestige Hampers based in Halifax said: "We wanted to bring festive joy to what has been a tough year for everyone, we might not be able to enjoy Christmas like we have been accustomed to in the past.

The pastry stands at 50 cm tall and weighing in at a mighty 1.3 kg.

According to Prestige Hampers, the mammoth sausage roll is three times the length and eight times the weight to some high street competitors' weight.

The humongous sausage rolls are made fresh and are available to buy online at www.prestigehampers.co.uk from Sunday November 1.
