It's all Square as chapel opens again

Square Chapel Centre for the Arts is back operating in its historic Grade II* listed building after a summer spent up the road at the Orange Box Young People's Centre while workmen carried out extensice rennovations.

It held its first performance last night with The Magic of Musicals show having run a highly successful Other Rooms programme through the summer with 13 pop up films and plays across a range of venues in Halifax.

From October 12 customers can use a pop-up box office when a show or event is taking place. As ever tickets and information can also be gleaned from www.squarechapel.co.uk - by phone on 01422 349422 or by email [email protected]

There is a drop off point on Blackledge for accessibility and there’s also a level access leading into the building and a stair lift up to the main auditorium.

Sofia Cann, Square Chapel Marketing and Communications Manager said: “We want to thank all our customers, partners and general public for their support and patience during our capital redevelopment project.

“We can’t wait to share the brand new building with everyone once it’s complete in early 2017.”
