Halifax-Huddersfield made it two wins out of three in the Yorkshire Inter-District League this season but cut it fine against Teesside at Dewsbury yesterday.

Andy Shaw’s side won 19-17, hanging on to a 7-5 lunchtime lead after the foursomes.

The singles honours were shared with five wins to each team and two halved contests.
