IT will be a family affair when Brighouse Theatre Productions present their pantomime ‘Mother Goose’ in January.
Paul Tankard is appearing as the Squire with daughter Sophie as the Fairy in the show which runs from January 17 to 20 at Brighouse Civic Hall.
Sophie’s sister Charlotte also has a role in the panto which will feature a cast of familiar faces.
Also taking to the stage will be dancers from the PM Gibson School and there will be well-known catchy songs directed by Jill Lambert.
Pete Forsyth is the producer and Philip Baxter is the accompanist.
Members of the cast of ‘Mother Goose’ took to the streets of Brighouse to advertise the forthcoming production. Wilkinson’s store provided shelter for the day and members of the cast mingled with shoppers to hand out flyers.
Publicity officer Margaret Hallett said: “We are looking forward to providing family fun and entertainment in those dark days after Christmas.”
Evening performances start at 7.15pm and there are matinees on Saturday, January 19 at 2.15pm and Sunday, January 20 at 1.15pm.
Tickets at £10 for adults and £7 for children and concessions are available from 01484 402435. One free ticket is offered for every 10 booked as a party.
l Brighouse Theatre Productions are holding their annual carol concert tonight, Thursday, at Central Methodist Church, Brighouse. Also taking part will be Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band and Longroyde Junior School Choir. The concert starts at 7.30pm.
