September is set to be a month to remember.
The Brighouse Arts Fesitval has been extended this year to include a number of post-festival events. The aim is to continue to make the performance spaces in Brighouse remain alive.
On Thursday, September 25 at The Civic Hall there is a special showing of Les Miserables which includes the popular meal deal.
On Saturday, September 27 there is another live event with the Halifax Gilbert and Sullivan Society performing.
The Civic Hall has become an established venue for cinema, theatre and music.
These events have been well supported, but do rely on ticket sales to remain viable. On the whole audiences have increased and organisers have been able to become more ambitious with the Johnnie Casson Show and Mikron Theatre leading the way.
A spokesman said: “The Civic Hall is a great venue so bring your family and friends for a thoroughly good evening of entertainment with a bar provided.”
Tickets are available for festival and post-festival events from Harrison Lord, Simply Flowers, Ryecorn Wholefoods, Brighouse Library or online at www.brighousefestival.co.uk or 01484718324.
