Organisers of this year’s great British Rhythm and Blues festival in Colne are asking visitors to ‘join the conversation’ and share their experiences and photos through social media.
The four day event runs from Friday, August 28 to Monday, August 31 and highlight acts include jazz saxophonist and clarinet-player Courtney Pine, festival favourites The Blues Band, Nine Below Zero, Billy Boy Arnold, Mike Vernon and Tommy Castro.
Digital communications co-ordinator Kyle Murray said: “As our festival enters its 26th year it’s important we move with the times. The festival draws in music-lovers from all over the world to Colne so we want to transfer the community feel from the streets onto social media.
“We’re inviting everyone at the festival to share their memories of this year’s #ColneBlues.”
Six hundred musicians will take part in the festival at eight venues over four days, showcasing a mixture of authentic electric blues, rock, jazz and acoustic acts.
