IT has been a busy week for Brighouse man, Ess Green, but the 21-year-old can’t wait to perform in front of 16,000 people.
Ess who runs clothing company Axznt in Bradford Road will perform as part of street dance crew The A-Team this Sunday in the live grand finale of Got To Dance.
The dance act won one of two places from its semi-final show held two weeks, voted for by the public. Now they will go head to head with nine other acts in the final at Kensington Olympia, London.
Ess said: “After the semi-final most of us rested up for a few days. I had a lot going on with the shop because I spent last weekend at a dance event in Scotland which I was sponsoring. But this week we have been rehearsing non-stop for the final on Sunday.
“I am really excited about it but scared at the same time because we have only had two weeks and we needed to put together a routine.
“It is going to be a hard final especially with the acts that have got through but we will do our best.”
The street dance crew got some fantastic comments about its semi-final performance from the three judges Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt, tap dancer and actor Adam Garcia and Ashley Banjo from Diversity.
And they are hoping the comments will be just as good this Sunday when they perform the final piece. The audience votes will select the top three acts who will have to perform their semi-final routine again before a winner is selected. Watch ‘Got to Dance on Sky1 HD Sunday 4th March at 6pm.
