Siddal have been drawn away to The Army in the first round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

The draw was conducted at Wembley Stadium this afternoon and hosted by BBC commentator Dave Woods alongside special guests Lizzie Jones, wife of the late Danny Jones, and 2015 Lance Todd Trophy winner Tom Briscoe.

Thirty six teams were in the hat and Gareth Greenwood’s Siddal will travel for the game on January 30/31.

Halifax and other Kingstone Press Championship sides enter at the fourth round stage (March 19-20).

The bottom four clubs in the 2015 First Utility Super League season enter in the fifth (April 16-17) with the top eight Super League teams in 2015 joining the competition in the sixth round (May 7-8).
