“There was another major bonus and that was we got through it injury free,” said elated chairman Bailey.
“The first two games in Sydney against Penrith Junior League team Blacktown City we won 56-6 and then the lads visited Sydney Harbour and Taronga Zoo.
“They then went on to watch Cronulla Sharks v North Queensland Cowboys NRL game as their guests then played a North Sydney Representative side at Cherry Brook but lost that one 28-12.
“We then flew up to the Gold Coast, staying at Runaway Bay, and played South Brisbane Division One side Beaudesert Kingfishers.
“We won that one 34-24 and then visited Surfers Paradise and the famous Suncorp Stadium to watch Brisbane Broncos v St George Illawarra.
“The final game against Brighton Roosters saw us win 56-0.”
