In the 4x25m freestyle relay team event, St Joseph’s scooped gold and set a new record time.

Twelve-year-old Emma Sykes set a new club record in the girls 13 & 14 years 25m butterfly.

Swimming it in 16.47 seconds, Emma took just over one second off the previous record set in 2012 by Amy Donovan.

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary in Hove Edge set a new record in the 4x25m team medley.

Eleven-year-old Emily Layden-Fritz had a great evening, winning three events and setting a new club record in the girls 11 & 12 years 25m butterfly. The record set by Emma Sykes at 17.63secs was reduced by Emily to 17.53.
