AS we approach the end of 2012, the management team at Crow Nest Park Golf Club are not looking back, but are looking towards the future, with a positive outlook.

The awful weather experienced during most of 2012 has made a considerable impact on the club as members, visiting golfers and visiting parties have found it almost impossible to confidently arrange their golf because of the almost continual wetness of the course.

Club manager Les Holmes said:“2012 has been a tough 12 months but it`s also been a very enjoyable period, as we have delivered to our members a clubhouse, which they can now be quite rightly proud of.

“The building work has now been completed and the new changing rooms, bar and function suite and office space are up and running.

“Our focus over the coming year will be on continuing to improve the course and consolidating our position as one of Calderdale’s premier sporting venues. I am excited about our new membership options which are being released from January 1 next year”
