Hartshead Moor, who lie in mid-table in the Bradford League’s second division, suffered an agonising one-wicket home defeat to Keighley.
Batting first, they were all out for 143 in 44.8 overs with long serving Craig Field scoring 29 and skipper Will Smith 32.
Humayun Shahzad (four for 36) and Andy Wear (three for 27) helped put Keighley on top.
However, it took a man-of- the-match performance from Shahzad, with 33 runs on top of his four-wicket haul, to prevent the Highmoor Lane boys from picking up a vital win.
Jonathan Williamson (35) also helped his team-mates ensure victory while Daniel Squire was in good form with the ball, taking five for 44.
Hartshead’s seconds suffered a 75-run defeat to their division’s leaders Saltaire, who had struggled to 128 in 37.3 overs.
Saltaire were grateful to Humare Amjad, who hit 51 as Myles Brooke (five for 46) and Marshall Grieve (three for 24) bowled well.
However, only Andrew Croft, with 29 not out, showed any defiance to the Saltaire attack.
Lane mustered only 53 in 19.1 overs. Govinder Bargota took five for 10 and Feyaz Akram three for 34.
