Hartshead Moor made light work of Bankfoot in their JCT600 Bradford Cricket League Division Two game at Odsal.
Bankfoot batted first and were all out for just 77 in 30.2 painstaking overs.
Daniel Squire was the pick of the bowlers when taking 6-27 in 14 overs, while skipper Will Smith weighted in with 2-7 in 4.2 overs.
Overseas player Faha Ul-haq was 26 not out and Richard Ferry hit 33 as the Highmoor Lane outfit chased down the score in just 15.3 overs.
The eight-wicket triumph was timely as it enabled them to climb out of the bottom four.
However, it was the complete reverse in the second team fixture with Bankfoot bowling Hartshead out for 91 in 36.5 overs.
Samad Rahman did most of the damage when taking 7-2.
The top scorer for Hartshead was the returning Trent Otto, who scored 17, but even he was ‘outscored’ by the extras column.
Bankfoot were clearly in no rush and took their time to overhaul their hosts, losing four of their wickets in the 30.1 overs it took them to reach their target.
However, Chris Ignatowski (28) and Abbas Wajid (38 not out) saw them home.
