FC Halifax Town have moved to plug their leaky defence by signing 23 year old centre half Keil O’Brien from League One side Bury for the next couple of months.
The 6ft 5in defender was a Manchester United graduate and joined Norwich Victoria in 2010.
He has also played for Radcliffe Borough, Mossley and Chorley.
O’Brien joined Bury in June 2014 but was sidelined last season for a few months due to a knee injury.
He will be at the Shay until January 9.
The Shaymen, who host Guiseley in the FA Cup on Saturday, have only Kidderminster Harriers below them in the Conference, having leaked 45 goals in 18 games so far.
