Preparations get underway for Ladies Premier introduction

Brighouse Town Ladies are gearing up for their first season in the Women’s Premier League.

Manager Rob Mitchell and his team of coaches have been hard at work planning and preparing for what promises to be an exciting season indeed.

Town are busy recruiting players and have made several signings already with a few more in the pipeline.

After adding a third team this time around things will be busy at the Dual Seal Stadium for Mitchell’s squad, who will all be fighting for a place in each team come August 21.

Pre-season sees the Ladies come up against the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City as well as Burnley and York City. Town have also upped their training sessions to twice a week, thanks to having access to Rastrick High School after teaming up with the highly sports-minded seat of learning to produce junior girls teams in the area, something Town have also been busy working on in recent times.

Town Ladies will also be running teams at Under-7, Under-8 and Under-9 this season as well as an Under-12 team which starts in the coming weeks.

If any girls in years one, two or three fancy getting involved please contact the club via email
