Old Pond maintained their positive 100 per cent start to the season with back to back wins against Ryburn Valley and Stallions.
The Hove Edge side started sluggishly in their Tuesday evening encounter with Ryburn Valley - but eventually cranked through the gears to pick up a well-deserved three points.
Gareth Jones spurned a number of chances for Valley before the breakthrough came just before the interval.
Michael Martin delivered precisely from a corner and Wayne Allert headed home his debut Pond goal.
Two substitutes combined as Pond put the game to bed. Paul Taylor’s mis-skewed shot landed invitingly for Stephen Ashford to finish with an already trade-mark diving header.
Ashford made it three with Pond’s third and final headed goal of the matchfollowing a good cross from Chris Marsh.
On Sunday Pond cruised into a 5-1 first half lead against Stallions, with Ashford once more to the fore with a fine hat-trick. Glen Lee and Wayne Allert also netted in the 5-4 victory.
FC Barge failed to build on their opening day Premier Division victory as they went down to two defeats this week.
On Thursday they lost 4-1 to Feathers FC before losing 5-0 to FC Bowling Green on Sunday.
Top Club have positioned themselves nicely in the higher echelons of the fledgling Division Two table with back to back victories.
They beat league new boys Czech United on Sunday by a solitary goal and have been mooted as one of the teams to watch this season.
FC Barge will play at Apperley Bridge in the West Riding Sunday Cup, whilst Old Pond have a daunting trip to play Bradford Premier Division champions West Bowling. Top Club will travel to Lyceum in the Sunday Trophy competition.
North Bridge will face Old Pond in the District Cup and take on Top Club in the League Cup. Shoulder FC Northowram have also drawn the same two teams in District and Senior Cup competitions.
Rastrick BC have Halifax Rangers in the District Cup and Ryburn Valley in the League Cup, with Barge away at Lee Mount in the Senior Cup.
