A disappointing Easter for Brighouse Town was completed by a 3-1 home defeat by Ossett Albion yesterday.
The visitors were gaining quick revenge for a 2-1 defeat in the reverse NPL Division One North fixture nine days earlier.
Brighouse, who had only drawn 1-1 away to rock bottom New Mills on Good Friday, were put on the back foot yesterday by goals from Rob Bordman after 21 and 53 minutes.
Ernest Boafo pulled one back from the penalty spot on 71 minutes, sending the keeper the wrong way, but Abdou Bojang sealed Albion’s success with eight minutes left.
Brighouse, who are 13th in the table, are away to runaway leaders Warrington Town on Saturday.
