Brighouse Town Ladies will once again be backed by the RRG Group at Toyota Huddersfield for the 2015-16 season and the news is a tremendous boost to the team from Hove Edge, who sit top of their league.
The team have been in sensational form this season and have continued to build on their rise up the leagues by securing a lucrative sponsorship deal, which will go a long way to ensuring the team can run at its current capacity as well as being able to build further.
Clive Mattimore of the RRG Group said: ‘We are delighted to be able to support Brighouse Town Ladies once again.
“We believe in their vision and what they are trying to achieve and we are just happy to be able to support them.
“Our focus is very much on families and the local community and the ladies team really fit in to that category.
“Women’s football is one of the fastest growing sports and we just want to be a part of it in helping it to grow in our local area.”
Manager Rob Mitchell said: “To receive the support and backing of such a well-known brand in Huddersfield is a massive coup for the club.
“The sponsorship will enable us to continue to maintain our high standards and run at an increased capacity over the next 12 months.
“I would just like to thank the RRG group for their continued support and hope to build even closer links for the future.”
The sponsorship coincides with the announcement of two new additional teams at Brighouse Town Ladies, who from next season will be running their own junior girl sides at under-11 and under-16 level.
They will have the help and support of Kirklees College, Brooksbank School, Elland and the West Riding County FA, who hope to secure funding for the new girls’ sides, who will train at Leeds Road Sports Complex, Huddersfield.
