Police probe into crash which caused car to plough into Elland family home
Police confirmed they are investigating a road traffic collision which caused a vehicle to crash into a family home.
Fire crews, police and Calderdale Council representatives attended the incident which saw a car hit the front of a house, in Springfield Road, Elland.
According to police, the home was initially surveyed by fire crews to make sure the property was safe, while police cordoned the street off from the public.
Representatives from the council then performed a second survey of the property, while the family whose home was hit, were taken to temporary housing.
The vehicle caused 'considerable structural damage' to the front of the home, said a police spokesman.
No one was seriously injured during the incident.
Police said enquires ongoing.
