Students from the Lumieres Performing Arts Academies in Rastrick and Huddersfield put on a show of dance and song.
Performers took part in the Brighouse Tesco’s charity event to raise money for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and Diabetes UK.
Joanne Stores, from the dance group, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all who took part in this years Tesco’s charity event. The store manager Helen Maynard, who authorised the event; a big thank you to the event organisers who were Stacey Brown and Jacquie Ramsden; and a huge thank you to all the people who donated. Without their contribution and support we would not have been able to raise this amount.”
The event raised £503 and will be split between the two charities. The students who took part were Kate Pritchard, Josh Simpson, Amber Kershaw, kiera Richardson, Caitlin Grigg, Anais Leigh, Hudsen Cartwright and Aimee O’Connor.
