Teenage comedian Jack Carroll is set to star in his own sitcom on BBC Radio Four.
Former Brighouse High School pupil Jack, who shot to fame after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent, will appear in a semi-autobiographical comedy called Careless.
Careless follows the fortunes of cerebral palsy sufferer and wannabe comedian Jack, who finds success after appearing on a TV talent show. But things become difficult for Jack following his rise to stardom, as his mother grows tired of him and employs a carer to look after him.
The series will consist of six half-hour episodes. Jack recorded the pilot last week.
Careless will be Jack’s first lead role, following appearances in BBC’s Big School and Sky One’s Trollied.
